Tick-borne Diseases (formerly IPS)
Leonardo Hotel Weimar, 24 – 26 March, 2011
Main Topic: Relating Genetics to Ecoepidemiology and Pathogenesis
Ticks and tick-borne diseases have been a major public health issue almost worldwide. Although our knowledge has been growing
rapidly, the problems are far from being solved. IJSTD (formerly IPS) is a biennial scientific meeting that deals with ticks
and tick-borne diseases. It brings together researchers and also practitioners from many countries working in various disciplines
(zoology, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, human medicine, veterinary medicine etc.) to have a lively exchange on
prevailing issues in a pleasant atmosphere.
